Eye-Catching, The Art of Getting Attention

  I was sifting through Stardoll and stumbled upon Michaela_313. I actually saw her in a club's guestbook, random place,  I know. She immediately grabbed my attention and held it. Sure it was a tiny icon with a small photo of her Medoll... but she stood out. Her blue hair and wacky accessories attracted me, made me want to see more. Overall her makeup is exquisitely executed along with the accessories and they give her a bright, funky look.

The key to getting attention is STANDING OUT, Michaela_313 does this. As long as you're not completely ridiculous, a little oddity is good. Then again, it's Stardoll, and we're all a little mad here. ;)

There will be a release party for it on Thursday!

I think they've done a great job with it, it looks excellent! It's really informative and the contents are top-notch.

Katy Perry is One Stylish Skittle! (Tutorial)

Here's how to get her glitzy blue look!

Makeup:

1. Change your hair to the second style in the Medoll Editor/Beauty Parlor.

2. Dye your hair with the blue DOREÉ dye.

3. Apply the Black Fluid Eyeliner (DOT), creating a cat eye.

4. Apply either a fake lash (Spectacular) or both volumizing and lengthening mascaras (DOT).Whichever looks best on your Medoll!

5. **You may add a lipstick or lipgloss. The main focus will be on the hair, the blue, so this is optional.
Applying the Beach Peach Glitter Lipstick from LUXE can finish off this look.

MAKEUP IS DONE!

Outfit:

1. Search Dresses - Green and go to page 2 to find the Sequined Bodycon Dress (Bisou).

2. Go to the 8th section of GLAM'RUS and get the Kahlo Earring.

3. Grab the Moxie Teens Glitter Ankle Strap Pumps or alternatively a plain black or blue/green heel.

Stardoll - IRL?

  Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus at the 2009 Clive Davis pre-Grammy party.

I know this is so old, but I love Taylor Swift wearing this Stardoll dress IRL! The dress can be found on level 3 of Fallen Angel in the Starplaza for 9 SD. Unfortunately it is for Superstars only! But, hey, if a real superstar is wearing it, maybe it should be Superstar priced.

  I personally think this dress is similar to this Herve Leger dress, pictured below. It's kind of like a more glam version of it.
